INlD demands removal of five IAS officers

Indian National lok Dal (INlD) has complained against five IAS officers in Haryana demanding their removal saying that they were influencing the electoral process.

RS Chaudhry, General Secretary, INlD alleged that former IPS officer PVS Rathi, posted as Principal Advisor (Home & CID) to CM Haryana, Home Secretary Roshan lal, RS Doon Chairman, Haryana State Food Commission, and other senior IAS officers, including KK Khandelwal and SS Dhillon are intentionally influencing the elections in Haryana.

Chaudhary alleged that Rathi has not been holding any statutory post but in view of his close political proximity to Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, he has been holding a position from where he is influencing the functioning of the Police Department. “A careful perusal of the Call Detail Record would reveal the extent to which Rathi has been influencing the functioning of the Department,” he added.  Chaudhary also alleged that Roshan lal, who is Hooda loyalist, is involved in several scams in the Agriculture Department. “A person of such dubious antecedents has been appointed as the Home Secretary of the State,” he said.

Similarly, RS Doon, Chairman Haryana State Food Commission has worked for almost six years as Deputy Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Haryana before seeking premature retirement recently. He is helping Hooda, alleged the INlD leader.

Chaudhary also raised questions on certain IAS officers and blamed them for assisting the election campaign of Congress. He alleged that KK Khandelwal and SS Dhillon have been assisting the campaign of Congress from their offices as well as their official residences.  He demanded immediate removal of retired officers and suitable action against the working IAS officers to instill the confidence of the people in the neutrality and fairness of bureaucracy.
