Following protests from Jat community over invoking Section 307 (attempt to murder) against five men who had roughed up and threw ink at BJP Kurukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini, Haryana Police on Friday withdrew the Section.

Meanwhile, leader of opposition and senior INlD Abhay Singh Chautala on Friday threatened to file a defamation case against BJP Kurukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini who had alleged that the youths who attacked him were members of the Indian National Students Organization (INSO) and INlD.
Chautala while talking to the mediapersons alleged that BJP led Haryana Government was again trying to spread tension among various communities following the invoking of Section 307 (attempt to murder) against the accused who had thrown ink at Saini.
He said that allegations levelled by Saini that those men were INlD members is baseless and we will file a defamation case against him for trying to ruin the image of our party.
