An industrial estate would be developed in Haryana’s Ambala Cantonment to bring all small and medium scale manufacturers of scientific instruments at one place in the state.
For this, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) would purchase land of nearly 100 acres, said Haryana Science and Technology Minister Anil Vij during a meeting held here on Tuesday.
He said that for this purpose, multi level sheds would be constructed and given to entrepreneurs. This would facilitate the small manufacturers of Ambala in the execution of all their activities at one place. Scientific instruments are being manufactured in small lanes of Ambala cantonment for which the entrepreneurs are facing many difficulties, he added.
He said that this was long pending demand of people of this place and efforts have been stepped up to fulfil this.
The Minister said that the construction of industrial estate would reduce the cost of manufacturing of scientific instruments in Ambala. The entrepreneurs would also not face any difficulty in selling of their goods, he added.
