HP signs transport agreement with UP, J&K
Shimla:Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh on Monday signed the mutual transport agreement at Lucknow to extend inter-state transport services. Forest and Transport Minister Govind Singh Thakur after signing the agreement said, this would prove to be an effective step in providing better and convenient transport facility to the people of all the three states.

9.10 lakh quintal sugar produced in Haryana
Chandigarh: The cooperative sugar mills in Haryana have so far produced over 9.10 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 103.19 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the current crushing season.

UCO Bank organises Blood Donation Camp
Chandigarh: To mark UCO Bank's 76th Foundation day, the Zonal Office Chandigarh on Monday organised a blood donation camp in its Sector 17-B Branch in the presence of staff members and the Zonal Manager Kapil Seth. A total of 31 donors, mainly from the Bank, donated blood to mark the occasion and which was followed by distributing of blankets to the leprosy patients.
