Haryana Government has decided to merge 14 Improvement Trusts of Bahadurgarh, Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani, Fatehabad, Hansi, Jind, Kaithal, Mandi Dabwali, Narnaul, Palwal, Sonipat, Sirsa, Rewari and Thanesar into their municipalities concerned.
An official spokesman said that a proposal of Department of Urban local Bodies to this effect has been approved by CM. He said that a separate cell had been decided in the respective municipal council or committee or corporation for the purpose of discharging all duties of the Trust. The staff in these 14 Trusts would work in these cells and look after all the functions of the trust. They would be on deputation for one year with the concerned municipality. He said that stock taking and inventory management of the Trusts would be done by Deputy Commissioner concerned through a committee.
