Haryana Government has further accelerated the pace of development works under the Chief Minister’s announcements, said Navraj Sandhu Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue, Disaster Management and Consolidation Departments, Haryana on Tuesday.
Sandhu reviewed the 'CM Announcements' in six assembly constituencies alongwith the MLAs of these assembly constituencies, here.
During the meeting, Sandhu directed all the officers to complete the development works related to 'CM Announcements' on priority basis and also submit progress reports from time to time.
It was informed in the meeting that modernization of Karna Lake in Karnal was being carried out to make it more attractive for tourists travelling between Chandigarh and Delhi. A convention hall will be constructed on this lake at a cost of Rs 10.42 crore. Apart from this, a musical fountain will be installed and horticulture plant will be set up there.
