The woman who had accused senior IAS officer SN Roy of sexual harassment, on Thursday met Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki and submitted a complaint against the IAS officer.

During her meeting with Governor, she demanded strict action against the officer.

later, she submitted a complaint with Haryana State Commission for Women. After receiving the complaint, the Commission has now written to Haryana Home Secretary seeking reply for not registering FIR into the case in past more than one month.

A day before, the Chandigarh Police had formed a three members special investigation team (SIT) to look into the matter.

The woman, a divorcee, had on Tuesday alleged in a complaint that SN Roy, who is at present posted as Principal Secretary in Haryana’s Urban local Bodies Department, had sexually abused her and also forced her to undergo abortion twice.

The woman had reportedly submitted a video clip to the UT police that puportedly shows the two dancing and conversing near a bedside.

In her complaint filed in February, the woman claimed that she came in contact with Roy in 2008 when she was fighting a case against her former husband. She alleged that Roy introduced himself to her as a divorcee and the two started a relationship.

Haryana Government had on Tuesday asked Roy to proceed on leave and handed over the complaint to Chandigarh IGP for further investigation. However, Roy’s counsel Sartaj Singh Narula denied all the allegations and also accused the woman of blackmailing his client for the past few months.
