The Punjab State IAS officers’ Association has announced to make a contribution of one day’s salary of all its serving Punjab cadre officers for supporting rescue and relief operations in Uttarakhand. President of Punjab State IAS officers’ Association, Sarvesh Kaushal said that he had requested Chief Secretary Rakesh Singh to send the amount to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund after deducting it from their salaries. The association has also offered its support and efforts to ameliorate the sufferings of the victims of this shocking tragedy.
