The HUDA Gurgaon has issued advisory for general public regarding checking pollution.
The trucks or vehicles carrying the construction material and debris have been directed to be kept fully covered and the plastic or any other material including tree leaves should not be burnt in open areas.
The advisory has been issued to ensure compliance of the orders of National Green Tribunal (NGT) passed from time to time in Vardhman Kaushik Vs Union of India and other related cases.
The Advisory issued by newly appointed HUDA Administrator Gurgaon Hardeep Singh says that every builder or owner is advised to put tarpaulin around the area of construction so that the dust emissions from the construction site is completely controlled. The construction material of any kind that is stored at the site should also be fully covered.
It further says that the construction material particularly sand cannot be stored on any part of the street.
According to the HUDA Administrator, the vehicles should be parked only in proper parking place so that traffic flows freely in the shopping areas and city centre or commercial belts. The violators would be punished as per law and heavy fine will be imposed on them, Singh added.
