The HTET PGT level-3 exam which was held on June 18 has come under scanner as almost four months old printed question papers were given to the students during the examination.
The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) had earlier this year postponed Haryana teacher’s eligibility test (HTET) PGT level-3 scheduled for February 20 due to the Jat quota agitation in the state.
However, the same question paper printed for February exam was given to the students on June 18 following which the students have raised questions on the Board.
Students have requested the Board to cancel the HTET level-3 exam as the question paper might have been leaked in the past four months. Students have also written to the Board to look into the issue as last year, the question paper was leaked in just 15 days after its printing.
last year in November, the question paper of HTET level-3 was leaked at a test venue in Jind district following which the exam was cancelled. However, the level-1 and level-2 exam were conducted as per the schedule. As many as 1,37,841 candidates had appeared in HTET level 3 examination for Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) organised by the Board on June 18.
Meanwhile, the officials of the Board have ruled out any possibility of paper leak this time. An official of BSEH said that it is right that the question paper printed in February was given to the students for the exam held on June 18 but there is no possibility of paper leak this time. The Board had made elaborate arrangements to avoid any such situation, the official added.
