Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has invited online applications for filling 1,327 vacant posts in Irrigation and Water Resources department and Development and Panchayat department.A spokesman of the Commission on Tuesday said online application for 892 posts of Canal Patwari in Irrigation and Water Resources department and 435 posts of Gram Sachiv in Development and Panchayat department could be submitted on the website of the Commission www.hssc.gov.in from September 22 to October 21, 2015 till 5 pm.
He said the candidates were advised to apply online well in advance without waiting for the last date of submission of online application form.The spokesman further said for the post of Canal Patwari, the educational qualification of a candidate should be matriculation or its equivalent. However, preference would be given to the candidates possessing higher qualifications.The spokesman said for male and female candidates of general category, application fee of Rs100 has been fixed for the posts of these two categories whereas, fees of Rs50 has been fixed for female candidate who is the resident of Haryana.
He said those candidates who had earlier applied against these categories and whose details were available on website of the Commission would also be eligible against these posts and such candidates would be exempted from payment of application fee.However, such candidates would have to apply afresh alongwith proof of depositing the application fee.He said while the last date of filling up online application was October 21, the last date of depositing fee had been fixed as October 23. Detailed information regarding the posts could be obtained from the Commission’s website, he added.
