Haryana Government has decided to observe 'International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illegal Trafficking' on June 26 in the state.
“Awareness programmes will be organised all across the state against the drug abuse,” said an official spokesman.
He said that a letter from the Chief Secretary's office in this regard has been issued to all the Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police besides Additional Chief Secretaries of the Departments of Revenue and Disaster Management, Home, Transport, Excise and Taxation, School Education, Health and Family Welfare, Higher Education, Principal Secretaries of Sports and Youth Affairs and Social Justice and Empowerment and Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department.
