Hry to carve up big mining zones into smaller ones for more jobs

Published on:

Haryana Government has a plan to divide the bigger mining zones into smaller zones so as to generate employment opportunities for the unemployed youth.

The State Food and Supplies Minister Karan Dev Kamboj announced it while addressing Chandrav and Garhi Birbal villages in Karnal on Sunday. She also added that smaller mining zones would also provide sand and other such material at cheaper rates.

The people had to face difficulties when mining was prohibited here. Strict action would be taken against those found indulging in corrupt practices, she added. Kamboj also criticised the previous Government for regional bias and said that now,  there would be equitable development of all areas in the State.
