Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma on Monday said that the State Government has prepared a plan to arrange special transport facility from schools to homes for girl students of Mewat and Morni hills.
The State Government has a target to ensure each girl in the state has access to higher education, said Sharma during his meeting with Union Human Resource Development Minister, Prakash Javadekar through video conferencing at Narnaul.
Javadekar held a meeting with Education Ministers of all states through video conferencing to bring all aspiring districts equal to other districts.
Sharma informed that district Mewat and Morni Hills have been kept in category of aspiring districts.
In order to ensure that the girls of these areas may not face any problem in reaching their schools, the government would ply special buses in these areas. Apart from this, residential school has been opened in Ferozepur Jhirka to increase the interest of girls towards education, said the Minister.
