Haryana Government has approved Rs11.73 crore for State Annual Action Plan 2016-17 (SAAP) under National AYUSH Mission.
The approval was given during the meeting of Governing Body of State AYUSH Society held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary DS Dhesi here.
It was informed in the meeting that the share of the Central Government in the SAAP would be Rs 7.038 crore and State Government’s share would be Rs 4.692 crore. This budget has been submitted to the Central Government for approval.
Under the SAAP, Rs 42.89 lakh has been allocated for admin cost, Rs20 lakh for Flexi Pool, Rs 9.68 crore for AYUSH services, Rs21.25 lakh for AYUSH educational institutions, Rs42.33 lakh for quality control of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homeopathy drugs and Rs78.23 lakh for medicinal plants.
In another meeting, the State Government has approved Rs 8.21 crore for the Annual Action Plan 2016-17 (AAP) under National livestock Mission. The share of the Central Government in the AAP would be Rs4.93 crore and State Government’s share would be Rs3.28 crore. This budget has been submitted to the Central Government for approval.
