Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal has convened a meeting on Thursday to take decision on enforcement of the Clinical Establishment Act in the state.

“There are two Acts, one of the Central Government and another enacted by the State Government. Decision will be taken on which one should be implemented in the state,” said the Chief Minister while talking to the mediapersons in Gurugram.

The decision to implement the Clinical Establishment Act came after the recent incident of overcharging by Gurugram Fortis Hospital, which had charged Rs 16 bill to a Dwarka based family for the treatment of their daughter Adya Singh, who had died due to dengue.

Talking about the waste management project, the Chief Minister said that under the first phase of integrated solid waste management project of Faridabad and Gurugram cities, garbage transfer sites would be established at 11 places in Gurugram.

These places would not only be cleaned, but 10MW electricity would also be produced from the garbage every day. Such facility would also be made available in other cities, he said.

He also flagged off 150 vehicles for garbage collection in Gurugram and Faridabad cities on Wednesday and laid foundation stones of 11 solid waste transfer stations to be set up in Gurugram.

He said that these transfer stations would be established at 15 places in Gurugram, of which foundation stone has been laid of 11 stations.

The entire state has been divided into 15 clusters for waste management and global tenders have been being invited for each cluster. Gurugram and Faridabad have been kept under one cluster, said Manohar lal .

He said that the project would be ready by February 2019. Similarly, Ambala and Karnal have been kept under one cluster and tenders have been invited for providing such facilities, he added.
