As many as 13,000 police personnel would soon be recruited in Haryana Police Department. Also, a recruitment drive would be launched by Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) for regular appointments in different departments of the State, said Chief Minister Manohar lal on Sunday. The Chief Minister while addressing ‘Pragati Rally’ at Samalkha in district Panipat said “The State Government has invited big industries to set up their units in the State so as to generate more employment opportunities for the youth besides the development of the State.”

Manohar lal announced a slew of incentives for Samalkha assembly constituency including Rs10 crore for construction of bypass on Nestle-Kiwana road, Rs10 crore for development of villages from Haryana Rural Development Fund (HRDF), Rs6 crore for setting up of Power Sub Station, Rs5 crore for Municipal Committee Samalkha for various development works, Rs1.50 crore for construction of two roads of Market Committee among others.

He also announced that first Gram Sachivalya in district Panipat would be constructed in village Biholi at a cost of Rsone crore. These Gram Sachivalyas would be set up in all six blocks of the district within next six months. For this, the Chief Minister directed Deputy Commissioner Samir Pal Saro to prepare a plan soon. On the demand raised by the MlA Samalkha,  Ravinder Machhroli for the construction of bypass on Nestle-Kiwana road, the Chief Minister said that he would take up this matter with the Railways either to construct a pass under the railway line or over the railway line.

Manohar lal said that he would write to National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to ensure that the bus coming from Chandigarh side to Delhi also makes convenient entry into bus stand Samalkha. He said that e-registration system has been implemented in all tehsils of the State under which one could get the registry of property at his doorstep in just seven days on payment of prescribed fees.

This system would not only ensure transparency in the tehsil works but also discourage the role of middlemen which is harbinger of corruption. The Chief Minister said that with a view to ensure that the people need not visit Government offices frequently to get their work done, 19 e-services has been launched on May 2. He said that the Government has also identified 164 more services which would soon  be linked with e- services.

Apart from the district level, these services would be extended to sub divisional level, block level and village level so as to expand the scope of these services. The Chief Minister added that the Government has decided to set up 1,000 vyayamshalas in the state  in the first phase to channelize the energy of youth. For this, 10 villages would be taken up from each Assembly constituency where vyayam shalas would be set up over 2 acres of land.
