Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar on Tuesday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, for releasing Central Sales Tax (CST) to Haryana. A compensation of Rs1,218.85 crore to Haryana was released for the period of 2010-11.
A spokesperson of the State Government said that Haryana had been pressing the Central Government for release of the payment on account of CST compensation. He further stated that the Chief Minister had written a letter to the Union Finance Minister on February 6 for releasing the pending amount.
