Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday directed the officers concerned to ensure timely disbursal of payments of sugarcane farmers in the state.
The CM while presiding over a high level meeting here also directed the officers concerned to strictly ensure that the crushing season of Naraingarh Sugar Mill starts before November 25 along with clearance of all the payments of the farmers of this Mill.
“The crushing season in both government and private sugar mills will begin from November 5. The season of Bahadurgarh and Saraswati Sugar Mills should begin before November 201. Also, adequate arrangements should be made to ensure smooth crushing at the Karnal and Panipat Sugar Mills as both the mills would start their crushing operations with enhanced capacity from December this year and Jan next year respectively,” said Khattar.
