The Manohar Lal Khattar Government has decided to postpone its proposed November 1 rally in Chief Minister’s constituency Karnal in view of busy schedule of BJP national president Amit Shah.
The BJP led State Government, which is set to complete four years in office on October 26, will now hold rallies in all 22 districts of Haryana. The first such rally will be held on October 27 in Jat heartland of Rohtak, which is also known as bastion of former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
Earlier, the ruling BJP had proposed to hold a mega rally on November 1 in Karnal to sound the poll bugle for 2019 elections.
“Keeping in view the busy schedule of BJP chief Amit Shah due to assembly polls in various states, we have decided to postpone November 1 rally proposed to be held in Karnal. This rally will now be held in December,” said Minister of State for Cooperation, Manish Kumar Grover while talking to the mediapersons here.
He said that on the completion of four years of the tenure of the present Haryana Govt, public meetings would be organised in all 22 districts of the state. “In this direction, the first public meeting will be held on the occasion of Jayanti of former Deputy CM, Mangal Sen at Rohtak on October 27, 2018. On this occasion, the elevated track in Rohtak city would be dedicated to people,” he said.
