These and other decisions are the outcomes of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the Haryana Police and HDFC Bank limited in the presence of Director General HQ KK Mishra at Panchkula on Wednesday.
Speaking on this occasion, DG HQ, KK Mishra said that as part of the agreement inked with the bank, the police personnel who suffer permanent disability would be given Rs 30 lakh compensation and those who bear partial disability would get Rs 5 lakh. This facility has been introduced for the first time by the bank for the welfare of the injured cops, he said.
