In a display of solidarity with Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Congress leaders thronged a Delhi court premises on Monday. Besides Cabinet Ministers from Himachal Pradesh, AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh too was present in the court during the appearance of the Chief Minister.
Terming it vendetta, Virbhadra Singh had maintained that the BJP Government at the Centre was trying to suppress it’s political opponents through agencies like CBI and ED. Singh has time and again said nothing would come out against him in this case.
Minister of Industries Mukesh Agnihotri, Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma,
Power Minister Sujan Singh Pathania, Excise and Taxation Minister Parkash Chowdhary,
Chief Parliamentary Secretary Inderdut lakhanpal etc were prominent among others who were present in Patiala House Court on Monday.
