A delegation of Engineers Welfare Association of HP Power Corporation (EWAHPC) led by Dinesh Sharma met Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh here on Monday to thank him for allotting 528 MW Jaisi Dam Project.
The Association also apprised the Chief Minister about the progress done by HPPCl during the recent years. The two projects viz. Integrated Kashang HEP (65MW) and Sainj HEP (100 MW) would be commissioned very shortly.
The EWAHPC also apprised the Chief Minister regarding anomalies in promotions being faced by engineers/executives of HPPCl. The Association requested the Chief Minister to implement the decision taken by the BoD of HPPCl in its 55th meeting held on 29th March, 2016.
