Ten people succumbed to Covid-19 in Himachal as 404 fresh Covid-19 cases surfaced on Sunday.
“In the last 24 hours, four people died in Hamirpur, two each in Mandi and Shimla and one each in Solan and Bilaspur due to Covid-19,” stated Himachal’s evening health bulletin. The death toll reached 1,057 while the total case tally stood at 65,242 in the State. Of the 404 fresh cases, a maximum of 128 were reported in Chamba followed by 57 in Hamirpur.
There were 3,577 active cases in the State till the evening.
Kangra has the highest number of active cases at 712 followed by 658 in Solan, the bulletin stated.
So far, 60587 people have recovered from the virus in the state. 256 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, it said.
Till now, over 12.82 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the state, the bulletin added.
