Himachal Pradesh Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Sunday felicitated the field workers of SEHB Society through ‘Maitri Society for All Kind’ on the occasion of Swachh Bharat Diwas organized on the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Bhavan and also distributed heaters to them. The Governor said that these efforts of ‘Maitri’ were inspirations for others. Other social organizations should also come forward in these activities, he said while appreciating the initiative of ‘Maitri’ for adopting about 158 TB patients in Shimla under Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
