Himachal Pradesh Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, inaugurating 22nd Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship-2022 in Mandi on Sunday, stressed the need to promote Wushu sport in a big way. Besides improving physical ability, this game was also helpful in developing a sense of discipline, he said. Arlekar said that the talents of juniors were really inspiring. “There are many problems in society and I have seen the solution in the Wushu game. We need to learn this art and sport for the sake of society and self-discipline. The game should not be considered as a game but a necessity,” he said.
‘Don’t respond to PU VC’s “fake” Whatsapp messages’
Chandigarh: Panjab University’s spokesperson on Sunday informed that a “fake” WhatsApp message is being circulated with the profile picture of PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Raj Kumar requesting for favour in the shape of vouchers or money. Spokesperson has asked everyone not to respond to these messages.
