Himachal chief minister Jai Ram Thakur on Monday would launch a campaign to eradicate drug abuse from State on Tuesday.
Presiding over a meeting on Prevention of Drug Abuse and Alcoholism, Chief Secretary Shrikant Baldi said that an effective action towards drug abuse would be taken by the line departments in campaign manner from November 15 to December 15 this year in the entire State.
Baldi said drug abuse must be tackled through this special campaign in the State, adding that Social Justice and Empowerment department has been appointed as the nodal department for this campaign.
