Himachal BJP on Thursday complained to Election Commission of India seeking removal of re-employed employees appointed in Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s office, alleging that they were involved in electioneering and are with no accountability to anyone.
In a complaint to ECI, spokesperson of BJP election cell Ganesh Dutt, said Congress Government led by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh had appointed some retired officials on key posts in Chief Minister office who are engaged in policy making for the electioneering.
He said Chief Minister has appointed his former private secretary Subhash Ahluwalia as principal private secretary former principal secretary to chief minister TG Negi, as private secretary and advisor and TC Janartha, was appointed as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) to Chief Minister. “They are working in favour of Congress party, as they are retired and owe no responsibility to the government and the people,” said Dutt adding that the working has irked several sincere officials who have been devoid of their duties and responsibilities.
