Hooda says Haryana has given relief to Sikh farmers

Published on:

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Tuesday said the State Government has given ownership right of land to those Sikh families who have been given land on lease at the time of Joint Punjab.

Addressing the conference organised on the occasion of Maghi Mela by Punjab Congress, Hooda described the BJP-SAD alliance in Punjab as a thagbandhan, adding they have nothing to do with the interest of the people. Deviating from his speech, Hooda said that he was born in Joint Punjab but he felt immense pain when he saw Punjab, which he considered as the elder brother of Haryana, way behind Haryana in the field of development.
