Hooda confident of forming next Govt

Claiming to form the Government for third consecutive term after the ensuing Assembly polls, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday said that the actual contest would be between BJP and Congress whereas INlD would completely lose its existence in the upcoming elections.

Hooda, while addressing the supporters of Congress at Jhajjar, said that lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections are entirely different as these are contested on widely divergent issues. He said that outcome of lok Sabha elections was due to a Modi wave.

The Chief Minister said that only strong candidates would be given party ticket for contesting the ensuing Assembly elections in the State and from first week of June, he will start meeting the workers of all districts.

“The party workers would contest the ensuing assembly elections with the spirit of ladenge aur jitenge and the history of Assembly elections would be repeated to form the Government for the third consecutive term,” he added.

Hooda further said that development was a continuous process and same accelerated pace would be maintained in the direction of development as witnessed in Haryana in the last nine years of Congress rule.

lashing out at the BJP, Hooda said that the BJP could never be a pro-farmer and labourer’s party. He described the victory of BJP in the recently concluded lok Sabha elections as the result of Modi wave and not of BJP itself. He said that INlD has lost its existence by seeking vote in the name of Narendra Modi in the lok Sabha Elections.

Hooda said that today’s worker meeting is a clear indication that Congress would form the government in Haryana for third consecutive term. He also expressed his gratitude towards the party worker and people of Rohtak lok Sabha constituency for ensuring the victory of Deepender Singh Hooda with a huge margin.

While congratulating Narendra Modi on being nominated as Prime Minister by BJP, he said that now it was his responsibility to fulfil all the promises made to the people during election campaign.
