Hooda accuses Chautala of 'hoodwinking' people

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday accused Indian National lok Dal (INlD) supremo Om Prakash Chautala of hoodwinking the people by saying he will take oath in the jail.

Hooda said that Chautala is misleading the people of the State by saying he will take oath from jail. “When Jayalalithaa could not stay as Chief Minister, then how can Chautala serving a jail term become the Chief MinisterIJ But if Chautala wants he can form an Assembly of the prisoners in the jail, make prisoners Cabinet Ministers and himself become the Chief Minister of prisoners,” said he while addressing public meetings in various constituencies on Sunday.

Taking a dig at the BJP, Hooda said, “In the BJP’s ‘Bhanumati’s Kunba’ there is no leader worth the post of Chief Minister. Both INlD and BJP, neither have any policy nor good intention.

“Riding on the false promises, the BJP is exposed now. On the other hand the Congress has worked for the development of all categories of people in the last ten years and for this to continue in the coming years, people should take a pledge to form the Congress Government in the State for the third time,” he said .

The Chief Minister said that Chautala and the BJP should seek votes in the name of the work done by their Governments in the State from 1999 to 2005. But the tragedy is that they are still seeking public support and vote in the name of Chaudhary Devi lal. let the INlD-BJP Government should give report of even one good work done by them. If they did anything else except capturing land in the State, they should reveal it to the public, he added.
