According to the police sources, she was questioned about her hideouts to which she replied to have been staying in Punjab’s Bathinda at the house of dera follower,  Sukhdeep Kaur. When asked if she was in contact with fugitives Aditya Insan and Pawan Insan, Honeypreet has claimed that she had talked to them on August 25 and not after that.

However, police has inputs that Honeypreet used international numbers and was in contact with them through Whatsapp call and messages.

On planning of violence by dera management and involvement of Ram Rahim in the conspiracy, she has denied of having any information about it.

She has remained evasive in her replies to the questions related to those including a senior Punjab Congress leader and relative of Ram Rahim, who had allegedly helped her to escape Haryana Police for over a month.
