The Himachal information and Public Relations Department has taken new initiative to provide video proceedings of the Vidhan Sabha session to the news channels and internet on the same day from this session.
Director, Information and Public Relations Anupam Kashyap said that the department had been recording Vidhan Sabha proceedings and cassettes of the same were being transported to the TV studio at Shimla where after editing the proceedings were being provided to Door Darshan Kendra Shimla. The whole process was taking time and proceedings were being telecast after a delay of one day.
He said the department has procured latest equipment and made it functional and the proceedings were being edited at Dharamshala itself. The proceedings were being transmitted via internet and enabling the DDK Shimla to telecast it on the same day.
