The Finance department of Himachal Pradesh on Friday said it has invited suggestions from farmer, horticultural, dairy, industrial, commercial, tourism, labour organisations and the general public for State budget 2018-19 to make it people-friendly.
The spokesman said that the suggestions could be sent via e-mail to Additional Chief Secretary Finance e-mail address finsecy-hp@nic.in on departmental web portal http://himachal.nic/in or via correspondence to Additional Chief Secretary Finance Himachal Pradesh Shimla by February 15.
He said these suggestions should be regarding improvement in service, good governance and creating opportunities of self employment and livelihood. The spokesman added that two persons with best suggestions would be presented cash award of Rs 25000 and Rs 15000 respectively.
