Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Thursday called on Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and requested him to join the celebration of completion of State Government's three years through virtual mode on December 27.
During the meeting at New Delhi, the Chief Minister informed the Union Minister that following the COVID-19 protocols, this year the celebration is being held virtually by organising a webinar.
He also thanked the Union Minister for extending support to the state and its people during the last three years.
The Chief Minister also discussed various issues pertaining to the state.
Rajnath Singh congratulated the Chief Minister for completion of three years tenure successfully in the office. He also assured of full cooperation to the state.
Notably, Himachal Government has planned to launch a publicity campaign through social media amid COVID-19 pandemic to celebrate completion of three years tenure.
