There has been widespread condemnation of the anti India and pro-Pak slogans raised in JNU campus in New Delhi in Himachal Pradesh.
Senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Prem Kumar Dhumal and three MlAs and former ministers – Jai Ram Thakur, Gulab Singh Thakur and Mahender Singh Thakur demanded that the anti-national forces including anti-national parties should be dealt with an iron hand.
They reminded left parties how the peaceful protests by students were quelled in China by deploying army and heavy tankers, killing mercilessly thousands of students by the dictatorial regime.
Now these elements were abusing the rights vested to the people in India, one of the world’s largest democracies, they lamented.
They said nowhere in the world such traitors would have been spared and shown any leniency.
BJP leaders demanded that deterrent laws should be made without further delay against sedition and anti-national forces currently conspiring fearlessly across the country.
They said Congress leaders now out of power were feeling like a fish out of water.
They should hang their heads in shame if they could recall the historical speech of Atal Behari Vajpayee , the then leader of the opposition in Parliament, delivered during the aggression of India by Pakistan. He had said, “ Indira Gandhi was the only leader of India and all the Indians stood by her firmly like a rock.”
Now the Congress leaders were opposing and criticizing even the best things being done by Modi Government , they lamented.
