Haryana Urban local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain on Sunday said that a meeting of a high-level committee would be held after the upcoming Monsoon Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha to discuss the long-pending demands of the employees of Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils and Municipalities in the state.
The Minister was addressing a delegation of ‘Nagar Palika Karamchari Sangh, Haryana’, who had called on her at Sonepat. She said that during the meeting, the long-pending demands of the employees would be discussed in their presence and possible solutions would be explored.
The Minister assured that the Government would protect the interests of the employees and would fulfill all their genuine demands. She added that Additional Chief Secretary and Director of the Department have been directed to prepare a report in this matter by gathering information about actual position of their demands.
