To streamline functioning of Punjab Medical Education and Research Department, Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Chetan Singh Jauremajra on Friday evening conducted a surprise check at the office of Director Medical Education and Research. The Minister said that the check was done in view of the difficulties being faced by the general public while getting services in the government departments. The Minister checked the attendance at the seats of the employees or officers, besides checking the location of the employees who went on a tour for some government work. Strict instructions were issued by the Minister to ensure the attendance of the employees in the office.
