Haryana State Vigilance Bureau on Wednesday arrested Executive Officer of Municipal Council, Narwana red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 40,000. The Bureau’s spokesperson informed that the complainant, a contractor of village Chattar in Jind district has accused Rajender Parsad, Executive Officer of seeking a bribe in lieu of passing the bill and facilitating the payment of construction work. The complainant had approached the Bureau which laid a trap and arrested the accused red-handed accepting Rs 40,000 in cash.
