Haryana Vidhan Sabha has nominated Dr Pawan Saini, MlA, to serve as Convener on the Sub-Committee of the Public Accounts Committee for the year 2015-16 under Rule 231(9) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Haryana legislative Assembly. A spokesman said that MlAs Ranbir Singh Gangwa, Kiran Choudhry and Harvinder Kalyan have been nominated as the Members of the Committee. He said that the Committee would scrutinize the paras of the remaining reports of Controller and Auditor General of India, which involves huge financial irregularities, and to go through the working of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra to find out the reasons of declining standards of education and give its recommendations in order to improve the standard of education of the University.
