Haryana Town and Country Planning Department has decided that a joint site inspection would be held in cases involving approval of building plans and grant of Occupation Certificate, in order to adhere to the time limits provided in the Haryana Right to Services Act. Also, the site inspection report would be forwarded to the headquarters within 48 hours after the inspection of the site through e-mail for its hosting on the website of the department.
A spokesman of the department said that site inspection would be carried out by ‘Joint Site Inspection Team’, comprising officials or officers concerned from the field, circle, Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) offices. He said that the teams would inspect the sites jointly and submit their report to headquarters for further processing the case within the prescribed time period. The report would be forwarded to the Directorate through e-mail on the date of inspection itself, he added.
