Haryana Tourism will soon come up with a well-designed and informative pocket brochure and an elaborate travel guidebook highlighting places of tourist interest along with information about Kurukshetra.
For this, an individual stands a chance to get famous, simply by proposing an interesting title about a book on Kurukshetra, said Principal Secretary, Haryana Tourism Department, Sumita Misra.
She said that Haryana Tourism has undertaken this initiative to bring out a travel guidebook on Kurukshetra.
She said that in view of involving larger participation in this endeavour, the title for the travel guidebook has been invited from the public.
Misra said that the contributor whose title is selected would be given due credit, one night’s free stay for two persons at any Haryana Tourism’s Tourist Complex of their choice, excluding the Hotel Rajhans, Surajkund, Faridabad, and a free copy of the book. One could e-mail the proposed title for the book at haryanatourism@gmail.com with the subject line ‘Title for book on Kurukshetra’, latest by July 30, she added.
