The adventure club of Haryana Tourism is all set organise a summer adventure camp at Manali in the month of June and July.
Haryana Tourism is holding the summer camp in coordination with Haryana School Education Department and Sports and Youth Affairs Department. Giving information about the adventure camp, Sumita Misra, Managing Director of Haryana Tourism said that as many as 700 participants from different parts of the State are expected to participate in this camp.
She said that during the camp, the participants would be imparted training by a team of trained guides and instructors on various adventure activities like rock climbing, rappelling, river crossing, wall climbing and other activities.Misra said that a bunch of fun activities have also been included in the camp like trekking, bird watching, cultural evenings, fox-flying, camp fire, meditation, personality development and indoor-outdoor rural games.
She said that the accommodation would be provided in comfortable tents and there would be clean washrooms with hot and cold water facility. The participants would be served nutritious and hygienic meals and there is an insurance cover for all the participants, she added. Haryana Tourism has designed these special packages for school groups and corporate houses which are economical, priced at Rs500 per day, per head which includes accommodation, meals and a host of adventure activities.
