Haryana Government will upgrade the laboratories of all Government polytechnic institutions in the State in the swarna jayanti (golden jubilee) year to enable the students to get placement in multinational companies by acquainting them with the latest techniques. Announcing this, the state Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma, who was presiding over a review meeting with officers of Education, Technical Education, Tourism, Archaeology and Museums and Hospitality departments on Thursday, directed the officers to take the Chief Minister’s announcements on priority basis and complete the works at the earliest.
During the meeting, the officers of the Education department informed that construction work of buildings of five new colleges in the state had been completed. Besides, administrative approval has been granted for six other colleges, the construction of which would soon begin.
The officers of the Tourism department informed the Minister that work on all CM announcements related to the department was being carried out at a rapid pace.
