Haryana Government would soon constitute teams of senior officials to conduct regular inspections at tourism complexes in the State to ensure its upkeep. Abhilaksh likhi, Principal Secretary, Haryana Tourism Department on Wednesday issued directions for proper upkeep and up-gradation of facilities and infrastructure at the Haryana Tourism complexes dotting the length and breadth of the State. likhi while presiding over a high-level meeting of the drawing and disbursing officers (DDOs), principals of state institutes of hotel management and senior officials of Haryana Tourism on Wednesday said that teams of senior officials, including himself and MD, Tourism, would be constituted to conduct regular checks to ensure that it is done.
He also asked all DDOs to contact office of deputy commissioner to redress of CM window complaints on an urgent basis, and keep abreast of all court cases and land details.
Sameer Pal Srow, MD, Tourism, said that a new beginning had been made with the holding of food festivals at tourist complexes on the occasion of Haryana Tourism Day and, now on the World Tourism Day.
