To take forward the ‘Swachchh Haryana-Swasth Haryana Abhiyan’, the State Government has chalked out a plan to set up solid waste management plants across Haryana. As a first initiative in this direction, state Chief Minister Manohar lal on Monday announced to give Rs20 crore for setting up a solid waste management plant in district Jhajjar.
The Chief Minister while addressing the gathering at a function organised in Jhajjar said the state government has prepared a plan to set up more such plants at various places in Haryana to ensure sanitation. This was the first function under the concept ‘youth for rural development’ organised in the State on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.
The Chief Minister also urged the youth to pay special attention towards schemes and programmes of rural development so as to realise the slogan of zero tolerance towards corruption. To eliminate these practices from top to bottom, he assured that none of his Ministers would indulge in such practices and employees should be aware of it.
