Haryana Government has decided to begin district wise recruitment process to fill up about 50,000 posts of groups C and D in different departments on contract basis.
A decision regarding this was taken during the meeting held under Haryana Chief Minister with Cabinet Ministers on Wednesday.
During the meeting, promises made in party’s election manifesto during 2014 assembly polls were discussed. Following this, the BJP led State Government decided to conduct district wise recruitment in posts of groups C and D in the state.
At present, about 25000 posts each in group C and D are lying vacant in the state. District wise committees would be constituted to keep a check on recruitment process.
Talking to the mediapersons after the meeting, Haryana Food and Supplies Minister, Karan Dev Kamboj said that the recruitment would be conducted district wise, thus providing equal opportunity for employment to the youth in all areas of the State.
He said that committees of officers of different departments would soon be constituted to begin the recruitment process and initially these posts would be filled up for one year.
Kamboj also alleged that during the regime of previous Congress government led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda, a large number of youth were left unemployed because of the name of their districts, but the present government would provide equal opportunity of employment to the youth of all districts by following the slogan of ‘Sabka Sath-Sabka Vikas’.
