Haryana Government has decided to re-engage computer faculty and lab attendants for computer education in Government senior secondary schools and high schools from July 1 to December 31 this year.
“They would be re-engaged on the same emoluments of Rs 10,000 per month in case of computer faculty and Rs 6,000 per month in case
of lab attendant,” said Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma.
He said for imparting computer education to students in government senior secondary schools and high schools, the computer faculty and lab attendants were earlier engaged as interim arrangement in March 2017 up to May 31 by the State Government in public interest as a special case subject to the condition that after May 31 no extension will be granted.
These computer faculty and lab attendants were relieved automatically on May 31, said the Minister.
He added that only those computer faculty and lab attendants would be allowed in the same schools who were in position as on May 31.
Recently, the State Government had decided to re-engage retired teachers in view of acute shortage of teachers in the schools. The Government hopes that about 5,000 retired teaches would be engaged in the Government schools to improve the education scenario.
At present, the education system is suffering due to the shortage of about 22,000 teachers including 15,000 Post Graduate Teachers and 7,000 Trained Graduate Teachers in Haryana schools.
