Haryana Govern-ment has decided to introduce the concept of link Officers on the pattern of the Centre for looking after the work during the leave or training or tour period or election duty of Administrative Secretaries.
An official spokesman said that the Administrative Secretary concerned would inform his link Officer while proceeding on leave or training or tour period or poll duty so that he discharge off urgent matter of the department. The Administrative Secretary would also inform the link Officer while away for more than five days due to any other reason, he added.The State Government had introduced this concept wherein the officers have been designated to look after the work of link departments during leave, training or tour period.
