The Haryana Government would install CCTV cameras in all cities, Urban local Bodies Minister, Kavita Jain said on Saturday. Apart from this, the CFl bulbs will be replaced with lED lights in all Municipal Corporations, Municipal Committees and Municipalities. A sum of Rs 100 crore would be spent on it.
After inaugurating the installation work of CCTV cameras at a market in Sonepat city, Jain said that 195 high technique CCTV cameras will be installed at 52 spots in Sonepat city, of which 165 cameras would be fix box type with range of 25 to 40 meters. Apart from this, 27 PTZ cameras will be installed in the city having range from 300 to 500 meters. The Minister said all CCTV cameras will be connected through underground wire with the proposed main control room at Police Office. The entire work would be got completed within six months.
